Black Crowes return to Moon Township to perform at UPMC Events Center

(Moon Township, PA) After four decades of making music, the Black Crowes are returning to Pittsburgh for a performance at the UPMC Events Center in Moon Township.

The Georgia-based band is celebrating their new 10-track album, released in March, which features a collaboration with Grammy-winning country star Lainey Wilson.

This marks the Black Crowes’ first show in Pittsburgh since last September, when they opened for Aerosmith’s “Peace Out” farewell tour, which has since been canceled.

The Black Crowes, who last month announced a series of “Happiness Bastards” tour dates to fill gaps in their schedule with Aerosmith, have revised their plans following Aerosmith’s unexpected retirement from touring.

The band has added 14 new dates to their itinerary and rescheduled several others. Tickets for the rescheduled shows will still be valid on the new dates.

Originally set to kick off on September 28 at the Hard Rock Outdoor Arena in Cincinnati, OH, the tour will now begin a day earlier, on September 27, at the MGM in Northfield Park, OH.

The tour will conclude in late December with two shows at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. However, the revision has resulted in the cancellation of shows in Tucson, Wenatchee, and Verona.

Tickets for the new dates go on sale on August 23 at 10 a.m. local time. Full tour dates are listed below.

Aerosmith canceled their farewell “Peace Out” tour after it became evident that frontman Steven Tyler would not fully recover from the larynx injury that led to the tour’s postponement after just three dates last year.
