Flyers Extend Win Streak to Three Behind Michkov and Konecny’s Big Nights
Philadelphia matched its season-high three-game winning streak with a tight 2-1 victory over the Predators at Wells Fargo Center on Monday.
Ryan Poehling and Jamie Drysdale found the net for the Flyers, with Poehling staying hot—now with seven goals in his last 10 games.
Matvei Michkov and Travis Konecny each dished out two assists, moving Konecny just one shy of 50 helpers this season.
“They’re definitely connecting well and feeding off each other’s energy,” interim coach Brad Shaw said.
Ivan Fedotov delivered a strong performance in goal, praising the team effort: “Big win for us—everyone stuck to the system and played hard.”
Since Shaw took over, the Flyers (31-36-9) are a perfect 3-0-0, lighting the lamp 15 times in those three games.
