NC State football extended offers to two offensive recruits this week as part of their efforts to strengthen their future roster. The recruits are quarterback Travis Burgess from Grayson High School in Georgia and tight end Jaxon Dollar from East Lincoln High School in North Carolina. Both players announced the offers on social media.
Burgess, standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 200 pounds, is a three-star prospect and ranks as the No. 507 player nationally, and No. 28 quarterback in the 2026 class according to 247Sports. He already has over 20 offers, including those from NC State, Duke, and North Carolina. Dollar, on the other hand, is 6-foot-5 and weighs 208 pounds. While he remains unranked by 247Sports, he holds offers from several major programs, including Cincinnati, Florida State, Michigan, and South Carolina.
NC State’s 2026 recruiting class currently includes four three-star recruits: quarterback Jacob Smith from Reagan High School, offensive tackle Brady Sakowitz from Trinity Episcopal School, safety Koby Sarkodie from Milford Mill Academy, and linebacker Jordan Moreta from Paramus Catholic High School. The Wolfpack has yet to secure a commitment for the 2027 class, but the recent offers to Burgess and Dollar show their ongoing efforts to build a competitive roster.
Head coach Dave Doeren and his staff are continuing to scout talent for the coming years, and these new offers suggest they are focusing on adding more skill players to their future teams. The NC State football program has built a solid foundation and is working to improve their offensive depth with recruits like Burgess and Dollar.
Stay tuned for further updates on NC State football’s recruiting efforts, as the Wolfpack looks to strengthen its lineup in upcoming seasons. With multiple offers out to key players, the team is positioning itself for future success.
