Beyond the traditional statistics, Weaver’s advanced metrics also suggest that his success is sustainable rather than the result of good fortune. Those numbers have helped establish Weaver as one of the more valuable relievers who could potentially become available before the deadline, assuming the Mets are willing to entertain offers.
