Josh Allen’s Mom Shares Rare Comment About His Wedding to Hailee Steinfeld
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen recently married actress Hailee Steinfeld in Santa Barbara. The wedding was attended by several of Allen’s current and former teammates, including Dawson Knox, Mitch Trubisky, Shane Buechele, Spencer Brown, Dion Dawkins, Khalil Shakir, and Tyler Bass, along with their partners.
Former players Sam Martin and Matt Barkley were also in attendance. Barkley’s wife, Brittany, posted several behind-the-scenes photos from the celebration on Instagram, featuring past and present Bills players and coaches. One photo showed a group that included Bills head coach Sean McDermott and his wife Jamie. Both Jamie McDermott and Hailey Beane, wife of GM Brandon Beane, left affectionate comments on the post.
LaVonne Allen, Josh’s mother, who keeps a low online profile, left a rare comment on Brittany’s post, calling the event “the most beautiful wedding with the most gorgeous couples.” Brittany replied with appreciation, calling it a perfect day full of love.
Allen’s sister-in-law, Delani Allen, also left a sweet comment, comparing Brittany to “a real life Barbie.”
In her newsletter, Beau Society, Steinfeld reflected on the joy of having family and friends gathered together. She described the wedding venue as being filled with love and shared a heartfelt story about a pre-wedding dinner with close family, during which they shared memories and thoughts about the couple.
Steinfeld and Allen’s families appear to have grown close over the past year. During the Bills’ playoff run, Hailee’s parents were spotted shopping for team gear at a Buffalo store where LaVonne Allen had previously shopped with Hailee. Though neither family was shown during the CBS broadcast of the game, fans noticed that LaVonne had started following Steinfeld’s mother on Instagram—highlighting the growing bond between the two families.
