The Buffalo Bills are looking to bring Hollywood-style excitement to Western New York. The team has officially filed a request to hold a special parade in East Aurora in celebration of the upcoming premiere of their Hallmark Channel Christmas movie, “Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story.”
If the Village of East Aurora Board grants approval, the event will take place on Wednesday, November 13, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. According to the application, members of the Bills organization, cast, and crew will make their way from a VIP reception to the Aurora Theatre, traveling down Pine and Main Streets as fans gather to celebrate the film’s debut.
The festive event would be part of a larger celebration of the Bills’ involvement in the movie, which has been filmed entirely across Buffalo and its surrounding communities, showcasing local landmarks and fan culture.
The project was first announced in March 2025, a collaboration between the Buffalo Bills, NFL, Skydance Sports, and Hallmark Media. Filming began in May, with several current players and team legends taking part.
Featured Bills personalities include:
Head Coach Sean McDermott
Running Back Ray Davis
Safety Damar Hamlin
Offensive Tackle Dion Dawkins
Tight End Dawson Knox
Long Snapper Reid Ferguson
Defensive Tackle DeWayne Carter
Wide Receiver Joshua Palmer
Bills icons Jim Kelly, Steve Tasker, Thurman Thomas, Scott Norwood, and Andre Reed
Team play-by-play announcer Chris Brown
The film also stars well-known actors Holland Roden, Matthew Daddario, Tracy Pollan, Caroline Aaron, Steve Schirripa, and Patti Murin, blending Hollywood charm with the Bills’ hometown pride.
Much of the movie was filmed at Highmark Stadium, as well as downtown East Aurora, offering fans glimpses of familiar Western New York scenery. In June, cameras rolled along Main Street as local residents caught behind-the-scenes looks at production.
By July, the official trailer had been released, creating excitement across Bills Mafia and Hallmark fans alike. Earlier this fall, several cast members even attended their first-ever Bills tailgate, experiencing the team’s game-day atmosphere firsthand.
The parade aims to capture that same community energy, celebrating not only the movie’s premiere but also the Bills’ connection to their loyal fanbase and region.
“Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story” is expected to premiere nationwide on the Hallmark Channel this holiday season, marking a unique collaboration between professional football and feel-good festive storytelling.
