NFL star Josh Allen has shared how he supports his wife, actress Hailee Steinfeld, in preparing for her acting roles.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback, 29, married the Marvel actress, 28, in May, and the pair have been inseparable since. Earlier this year, reports highlighted how Steinfeld was eager to support Allen in his pursuit of a long-awaited Super Bowl title. Now, Allen is returning that support in her career.
During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Allen was asked about Steinfeld’s work, particularly her role as Emily Dickinson on Apple TV. He explained:
“I wouldn’t say we run lines. She reads her scripts herself and updates me on them. But sometimes we’ll do a little improv together, which is fun. My wife is incredible—she’s the best.”
The couple first began dating in early 2023 before officially tying the knot in late 2024. After the Bills’ mandatory minicamp in June, Allen took Steinfeld on a post-wedding vacation, sharing photos of the two together with the caption “Wifey.”
Steinfeld has also been spotted supporting Allen at Bills games, including a recent win over the Ravens, where she sat with his family in a suite. While she tends to avoid the spotlight at games, preferring the focus to remain on football, she continues to be a steady presence by his side.
Meanwhile, the Bills have started the season strongly, securing a 3-0 record with victories over the Ravens, Jets, and Dolphins. With Allen aiming to bring Buffalo its long-awaited Super Bowl success, Steinfeld’s quiet but constant support has become a key part of his journey.
