The Buffalo Bills have finalized their 53-man roster for the 2025 season, with Josh Allen once again leading the way at quarterback alongside veteran backup Mitch Trubisky. In the backfield, James Cook will be the featured running back, supported by Ray Davis and Ty Johnson. Reggie Gilliam retains his role as the team’s fullback, providing versatility in both blocking and short-yardage situations.
At wide receiver, the Bills will rely on Khalil Shakir, rookie Keon Coleman, Joshua Palmer, Curtis Samuel, Elijah Moore, and Tyrell Shavers to create depth and options for the passing game. Tight ends Dalton Kincaid, Dawson Knox, and Jackson Hawes round out a strong group of playmakers expected to give Allen plenty of reliable targets. On the offensive line, the roster features Dion Dawkins, David Edwards, Conner McGovern, O’Cyrus Torrence, Spencer Brown, Sedrick Van Pran-Granger, Alec Anderson, Chase Lundt, and Ryan Van Demark to protect the quarterback and anchor the run game.
The defensive front is headlined by Greg Rousseau and new addition Joey Bosa, joined by A.J. Epenesa, Javon Solomon, and Landon Jackson on the edge. Inside, the Bills will rotate Ed Oliver, DaQuan Jones, T.J. Sanders, Deone Walker, and DeWayne Carter, giving the team one of the deepest defensive line units in the AFC. This group is expected to apply consistent pressure while strengthening run defense.
Linebacker play will be led by Terrel Bernard and Matt Milano, with Dorian Williams, Joe Andreessen, and veteran Shaq Thompson rounding out the corps. In the secondary, the Bills will look to Christian Benford and Tre’Davious White at cornerback, with additional depth from Dorian Strong, Ja’Marcus Ingram, and Jordan Hancock. Taron Johnson, Cam Lewis, and Brandon Codrington provide versatility, while safeties Taylor Rapp, Cole Bishop, and Damar Hamlin bring a strong mix of experience and youth to the defensive backfield.
On special teams, Tyler Bass returns as kicker, Brad Robbins takes over punting duties, and Reid Ferguson continues as the team’s long snapper. Cornerback Maxwell Hairston and offensive lineman Tylan Grable are listed on injured reserve with a designation to return, while defensive linemen Mighael Hoecht and Larry Ogunjobi will begin the year on the reserve/suspension list. With the roster set, the Bills enter 2025 with a deep mix of talent and high expectations for the season ahead.
