Josh Allen & Hailee Steinfeld: Wedding, Career Highlights & Upcoming Appearance
Before the start of training camp, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen married actress Hailee Steinfeld in a private ceremony in Santa Barbara, California. After their tropical honeymoon, Allen returned to training at St. John Fisher University and told NFL Network that he’s “feeling great.”
In addition to getting married, Allen signed a new six-year, $330 million contract with the Bills, which includes a record-setting $250 million in guaranteed money.
Reflecting on his recent achievements, Allen said a younger version of himself would be proud. “I got to marry the woman of my dreams, my best friend. I get to play football for a living — that’s my favorite thing to do.”
Hailee Steinfeld has also had a standout year. She starred in Sinners, the highest-grossing original horror film in domestic box office history. Her next role will be in Winter Games, a romantic sports comedy co-starring Miles Teller.
Steinfeld will appear at Fan Expo Canada in Toronto on Sunday, August 24. The event runs from August 21–24 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Her attendance follows the Bills’ preseason finale against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Actor Chad Michael Murray, a well-known Bills fan, recently praised Steinfeld on Good Morning Football, saying, “She’s all in. We watched the game last year together… she’s born for the Bills Mafia.”
As for the HBO series Hard Knocks: Training Camp With the Buffalo Bills, which premieres August 5, it’s uncertain whether Steinfeld will be featured. Despite sharing more about their relationship publicly, Allen and Steinfeld prefer to keep their private life out of the spotlight. She’s known to avoid even stadium jumbotron appearances.
The show is expected to focus on the team’s preparation for their final season at Highmark Stadium and their pursuit of a Super Bowl title.
