JUST IN: Southend United boss Kevin Maher provides injury update on duo

Southend United were again without Noor Husin and Adam Crowther for their 0-0 draw at Ballyfermot United tonight.

Midfielder Husin was sidelined with a shin problem, while center-back Crowther was out due to a groin issue.

Blues boss Kevin Maher will continue to monitor both players, who watched from the sidelines.

“Noor has started running on the grass but is still a bit away,” said Maher.

“Crowther hasn’t done ball work yet, but we’ll start building that up this week.”
