BREAKING: Melbourne victory have completed the signing of star player with massive power

Attacking midfielder Reno Piscopo has signed a two-year deal with Melbourne Victory, becoming the club’s third new signing under coach Patrick Kisnorbo. Piscopo, 26, brings his playmaking skills to his hometown team following his previous stints with Wellington and Newcastle. This signing is seen as a significant boost to Melbourne Victory’s ambitions for silverware under Kisnorbo’s leadership.
After beginning his career in Italy, former Olyroo Reno Piscopo made an impressive entrance to the A-League Men, tallying 59 appearances and scoring eight goals for Wellington. He then moved on to join the Newcastle Jets.
Reno Piscopo joins Melbourne Victory after an injury-riddled stint at Newcastle, where he scored just two goals in 33 appearances over the past two seasons.

“It’s exciting to be back home in Melbourne and joining a club like Melbourne Victory,” Piscopo said. “I’m looking forward to being a part of the squad and doing everything I can to help the team win silverware this season.”

Piscopo is Victory’s third signing under Patrick Kisnorbo, following ex-Perth Glory defender Josh Rawlins and former Central Coast striker Jing Reec. He replaces the departed Jake Brimmer and joins Frenchman Zinedine Machach in Victory’s attacking midfield lineup.
“Reno, a native Melburnian, is a versatile, attacking player who we believe will add an exciting, creative element to our forward third with his attitude and work rate,” said Kisnorbo. “We believe Reno will thrive at Melbourne Victory, and we’re looking forward to what he will produce at AAMI Park this season.”
