Joel Allen, father of Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, has offered his perspective on his son’s standout 2025 campaign and the team’s championship ambitions.
“Even though this is year number eight, every game feels like the first time … it never gets old,” Joel said, reflecting on the excitement of watching Josh play at an MVP level. He noted that the quarterback’s success is rooted in the discipline and work ethic instilled on the family farm in Firebaugh, California.
Joel praised his son’s consistency and leadership this season, crediting Josh with elevating those around him. “Josh has always been the kind of guy who lifts everyone around him,” he stated. For Joel, it is that steady presence in the locker room, rather than individual statistics, that defines his son’s growth as a leader.
Looking ahead to the postseason, Joel expressed confidence in Buffalo’s potential to finally break through. “They’ve got the pieces, now it’s about execution,” he said, adding that Josh’s focus on the process over pressure gives the Bills their best chance in years to reach the Super Bowl.
“Win or lose, I’m proud of him no matter what,” Joel concluded. “He’s shown the world the kind of man he is—and that means more than any trophy.”
