As the reigning NFL MVP, Allen is entering the 2025 season with significant momentum. In a recent Bleacher Report article by analyst Brad Gagnon, Allen was ranked the No. 1 quarterback in the league. Gagnon acknowledged that although Allen hasn’t led the Bills to a Super Bowl victory yet, his consistent elite-level play and statistical dominance make him a top contender.
According to Pro Football Reference’s Approximate Value metric, Allen has been the league’s most valuable player since 2020, outpacing even stars like Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson. While Jackson may be a more dynamic runner, Allen’s 65 career rushing touchdowns far exceed Jackson’s 33.
