Louisville Set to Host Versatile Florida Athlete DJ Williams
The University of Louisville will welcome talented Florida prospect DJ Williams for an official visit this weekend. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound three-star athlete from Tampa’s Carrollwood Day High School is scheduled to be among approximately nine recruits visiting campus.
Williams, who excels as both a wide receiver and defensive back, confirmed his upcoming visit schedule to 247Sports. After Louisville, he plans to take official visits to Ole Miss (June 6), Rutgers (June 13), and Missouri (June 20), with potential to add one more school to his tour.
The Cardinals are primarily recruiting Williams as a wide receiver, where he showcased impressive skills during his junior season with 39 receptions for 873 yards and five touchdowns. Defensively, he contributed at safety with 25 tackles and a pass breakup.
Williams’ athletic versatility makes him an intriguing prospect for multiple Power Five programs. His upcoming visits will help determine which school best fits his skillset and development goals.
Louisville gets the first opportunity to make their pitch this weekend as Williams begins his official visit tour ahead of what could be a summer decision. The Florida standout’s two-way potential adds value to his recruitment as programs evaluate where he might make the biggest impact at the collegiate level.
