Elijah Satchell Nearing Decision After Official Visits
Camden (N.J.) Eastside linebacker Elijah Satchell is entering the final stretch of his recruitment process, with official visits scheduled to Stanford (June 7), Kentucky (June 14), and NC State (June 21). The 6-foot-2, 230-pound outside linebacker has already completed an official visit to Northwestern as he evaluates his college options.
“I’m working on setting a commitment date,” Satchell told reporters at the Rivals Camp Series in New Jersey. The three-star prospect is considering all four programs as he moves closer to finalizing his decision.
Satchell’s upcoming visits will give him a closer look at each program’s defensive schemes and player development track records. NC State and Kentucky have prioritized him as an edge rusher, while Stanford and Northwestern are evaluating him as a hybrid linebacker-defensive end.
The New Jersey standout has seen his recruitment gain momentum this spring after a strong junior season showcasing his versatility. His ability to play in space while maintaining pass-rush productivity makes him an intriguing prospect for multiple defensive systems.
With visits scheduled through late June, Satchell could announce his commitment shortly after completing his official visit tour. Each school will have the opportunity to make their final pitch as the talented linebacker weighs his options before making a decision.
