When the Buffalo Bills started their organized team activities (OTAs) on May 27, quarterback Josh Allen was among the first players to arrive. This caught attention since his wedding to actress Hailee Steinfeld is expected very soon.
Details about their wedding have been kept private, but Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins mentioned on “Good Morning Football” in March that the couple planned to get married on May 31. Although Dawkins later tried to clarify his comments, a source confirmed to The Associated Press on May 27 that Allen and Steinfeld intend to wed within the next two weekends.
The Bills’ OTAs are scheduled for May 27-29, June 2-3, and June 5. Despite both having busy schedules, Steinfeld recently attended a bachelorette party in Cabo, supporting the reports about their upcoming wedding.
According to a report from Trainwreck Sports, Allen and some teammates were flying to California after the May 27 OTA, presumably for the wedding weekend. Steinfeld is from Thousand Oaks, California, while Allen is from Firebaugh, so a wedding in California is likely. A source described the event as intimate but extravagant.
Steinfeld, 28, and Allen, 29, kept their relationship private after they started dating in May 2023. It was only after Allen proposed in November that they began sharing more about their life publicly.
Bills head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane are expected to attend the wedding. Beane praised Steinfeld as humble and down-to-earth despite her success.
Dion Dawkins joked that his wedding gift to Allen was simply helping keep him healthy over the past seven seasons. Beane also humorously noted that Allen’s new six-year, $330 million contract might be the most extravagant gift he’s received.
