Dion Dawkins Walks Back Wedding Hint About Josh Allen
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, considered one of the top players in the NFL, has become a major figure both on and off the field. Despite his rising fame and relationship with actress Hailee Steinfeld, Allen has kept his personal life largely private—especially regarding their reported upcoming wedding.
Allen, who won the NFL MVP last season and led the Bills close to a Super Bowl appearance, proposed to Steinfeld in November. While no official wedding date has been announced, rumors have circulated, especially after teammate Dion Dawkins appeared to accidentally reveal more than intended.
A few months ago on NFL Network’s Good Morning Football, Dawkins mentioned May 31 as the possible wedding date. However, in a recent interview on The Rich Eisen Show, he seemed to walk that back, claiming he didn’t know anything about the event.
“Is that coming up? I didn’t know anything about that,” Dawkins said. “We’re all here in Buffalo working out. I’ll give them a FaceTime call and check in, but I have no idea.” He added, “I’m in Orchard Park, focused on Hallmark and eating some wings.”
Unlike other high-profile NFL couples like Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, Allen has made a concerted effort to keep his personal affairs out of the spotlight. Dawkins’ slip-up may be the closest the public gets to knowing more about the wedding before it happens. Once confirmed, fans are sure to celebrate the news of Allen’s marriage.
