Hailee Steinfeld Draws Attention at Friend’s Bachelorette Party Amid Wedding Speculation with Josh Allen
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is expected to head into the 2025 NFL season as a married man. Allen, who began dating actress Hailee Steinfeld in May 2023, proposed to her in November. While the couple has not confirmed wedding details publicly, teammate Dion Dawkins previously hinted during a March interview on Good Morning Football that the wedding might take place on May 31.
“Josh Allen is one of those guys—you know he sealed that deal,” Dawkins said at the time. “And soon to come, May 31, it’s happening.”
Given Allen and Steinfeld’s emphasis on privacy, many fans were skeptical about the reveal. In a February interview, Steinfeld commented on her desire to protect parts of her life from public view, saying, “When so much is already out there, you really learn to cherish the little that isn’t.”
Earlier this week, Dawkins appeared to walk back his previous remarks during an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, stating he was unaware of any upcoming wedding. “I ain’t know nothing about that,” he said. “We’re all in Buffalo, working out. I’ll give those guys a Facetime call and see what’s going on, but I have no idea.”
Amid this uncertainty, Steinfeld was seen celebrating her best friend Greer Gustavson’s bachelorette party over Memorial Day Weekend. Social media photos showed Steinfeld joining the festivities, which included colorful dresses and humorous costumes inspired by the bride-to-be’s fiancé, music producer Demitri Lerios.
Gustavson, the daughter of billionaire Tamara Gustavson, has frequently been mentioned in Steinfeld’s newsletter. In a past issue, Steinfeld described her as the go-to friend during times of stress, even though they currently live apart.
Meanwhile, Allen had his bachelor party in March, keeping it low-key with a group of close friends who attended a TGL golf match. Among those present were Allen’s brother Jason, several NFL players including Dalton Kincaid, Christian Kirk, Sam Darnold, and Kyle Allen.
Steinfeld and Josh Allen had previously attended Kyle Allen’s wedding last summer. According to a source quoted by US Weekly in March, the couple is planning a “very intimate but extravagant” wedding and is currently working through scheduling and location logistics.
As the Bills prepare for organized team activities from May 27 to June 5 and mandatory minicamp in mid-June, speculation continues to swirl about when exactly Allen and Steinfeld will tie the knot.
