Clemson football continues to build momentum on the recruiting trail, making the final five schools for four-star defensive lineman Keshawn Stancil from Clayton, North Carolina. The Tigers join Penn State, Miami, Georgia, and NC State on his shortlist, although there is currently no clear favorite in his recruitment.
Stancil is ranked No. 153 overall and the 20th-best defensive lineman nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also considered the No. 10 prospect in North Carolina, a state known for producing top-tier football talent. Despite his high ranking, Stancil has not yet received an official offer from Clemson as listed on 247Sports.
Clemson’s current recruiting success reflects the program’s strong outlook heading into the 2025 season. The Tigers are coming off an ACC championship and playoff appearance and return more production than any other team in the Power Four conferences. This performance has propelled them to the No. 4 spot nationally in the 2026 recruiting rankings.
The program has already landed an official visit from the top linebacker in the 2026 class and secured a commitment from the No. 2 in-state player. Adding a player like Stancil would further bolster an already impressive recruiting cycle for head coach Dabo Swinney and his staff.
Although Clemson has yet to offer Stancil, securing a visit could be a pivotal step. Given the program’s recent success and recruiting momentum, an offer from Clemson might be enough to make them a serious contender for his commitment.
