The Buffalo Bills made a roster move on Tuesday by signing wide receiver Kristian Wilkerson to a one-year contract. Wilkerson, who stands 6-foot-1 and weighs 214 pounds, brings experience and depth to the wide receiver room as the team continues to evaluate talent ahead of the 2025 season.
Wilkerson, 28, appeared in three games for the Las Vegas Raiders last season, where he registered three receptions for 18 yards and one touchdown. While his time on the field was limited, he showed flashes of reliability in a depth role and will now have the opportunity to compete for a spot on Buffalo’s final roster.
An undrafted free agent in 2020, Wilkerson began his professional career with the Tennessee Titans. He played his college football at Southeast Missouri State, where he put up strong numbers and earned recognition as one of the school’s all-time top receivers. Since entering the league, Wilkerson has also spent time with the New England Patriots and now looks to carve out a role in Buffalo.
The Bills announced that Wilkerson will wear jersey No. 82 as he joins a receiving group led by established talent and emerging players. His size, experience, and special teams ability could prove valuable during training camp and preseason action.
In a corresponding roster move, Buffalo released wide receiver Hal Presley III. Presley, a recent addition to the team, will now look for another opportunity elsewhere. The Bills’ front office continues to make adjustments as they prepare for the start of the season and aim to improve competition across all positions.
