
Bills Sign Six Members of 2025 Draft Class to Rookie Contracts
The Buffalo Bills made significant progress on Friday by signing six of the nine members from their 2025 draft class to rookie contracts ahead of the upcoming rookie minicamp. The players who have signed are defensive end Landon Jackson, defensive back Jordan Hancock, tight end Jackson Hawes, cornerback Dorian Strong, offensive tackle Chase Lundt, and wide receiver Kaden Prather. All of these players will receive four-year contracts.
Landon Jackson, the 22-year-old defensive end from Arkansas, was selected in the third round with the 72nd overall pick. He had an impressive college career with 16 sacks and 27 tackles for loss over 42 games.
Jordan Hancock, a 21-year-old cornerback from Ohio State, was drafted in the fifth round at No. 170. He played a key role in the Buckeyes’ 2024 national championship win and had three interceptions and 14 passes defensed during the season.
Jackson Hawes, a tight end from Georgia Tech, was picked at No. 173 in the fifth round. He is expected to compete for the Bills’ No. 3 tight end position.
Dorian Strong, a 23-year-old cornerback from Virginia Tech, was drafted in the sixth round at No. 177. Over five seasons with the Hokies, he recorded seven interceptions and 28 passes defensed.
Chase Lundt, a 24-year-old offensive tackle from UConn, was picked in the sixth round at No. 206. He started 49 games during his college career.
Kaden Prather, a wide receiver from Maryland, was chosen in the seventh round at No. 240. He had 162 receptions, 1,966 yards, and 12 touchdowns during his college career, which included stints at both West Virginia and Maryland.
Three players from the 2025 draft class remain unsigned: Kentucky cornerback Maxwell Hairston, the team’s first-round pick; South Carolina defensive tackle T.J. Sanders, the No. 41 overall pick in the second round; and Kentucky defensive tackle Deone Walker, selected in the fourth round at No. 109.
