Denver Broncos Sign Developmental EDGE Prospect Quandarrius Robinson to Four-Year Deal
The Denver Broncos have added depth to their defensive front by signing rookie edge rusher Quandarrius Robinson to a four-year contract. Selected in the fourth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, Robinson joins a pass-rushing unit that already includes standouts Jonathon Cooper and Nik Bonitto, along with key backups Jonah Elliss and Dondrea Tillman. Despite the team’s strength at the position, Denver continues to prioritize young talent with upside.
Robinson, a 6-foot-5, 243-pound defender from Alabama, is considered a raw but promising prospect. Though his college production was modest—recording six total sacks—he made significant strides in his senior season before an elbow injury cut it short. In limited snaps, he posted career highs in multiple categories, including 23 tackles, seven tackles for loss, four sacks, and an impressive 24.0% pass-rush win rate, ranking him among the top edge rushers in the country according to Pro Football Focus.
According to The Denver Post, Robinson’s rookie deal is worth approximately $5.05 million over four years, including an $854,248 signing bonus. His projected yearly earnings increase from around $1.05 million in his first season to roughly $1.45 million in the final year of the deal. These figures reflect his potential value as a long-term project with room to grow in Denver’s defensive scheme.
NFL Draft analyst Lance Zierlein describes Robinson as a “tweener” with athletic tools but in need of more development and physicality. He sees potential in Robinson as a versatile linebacker capable of contributing on special teams while refining his skills as a pass rusher. Zierlein believes that with time and coaching, Robinson could evolve into a valuable rotational player or hybrid linebacker in a 3-4 system.
While Robinson may not be expected to make an immediate impact, the Broncos clearly see long-term potential in his athletic profile and work ethic. As he continues to recover and adjust to the NFL, Robinson will aim to carve out a role within Denver’s defense, potentially contributing in situational packages and special teams early in his career.
