UCLA Pursues UCF Linebacker Commit Kymani Morales with Surprise Offer
Kymani Morales, a standout linebacker from Fort Lauderdale’s American Heritage School, received an unexpected offer from UCLA just two months after committing to UCF.
The offer came on Wednesday from UCLA assistant coach Tino Sunseri, catching Morales off guard and prompting him to reconsider his recruiting options.
Morales, who stands at 6-foot and weighs 195 pounds, has made a name for himself as a high-volume tackler and a force on defense. His recent performance has attracted attention from major programs beyond UCF.
Following the offer, Morales is now seriously considering taking an official visit to UCLA, which recently joined the Big Ten Conference and is expanding its recruiting footprint in Florida.
While Morales remains committed to UCF for now, the interest from UCLA has added a new dimension to his recruitment as he weighs his future in collegiate football.
