Chris Henry Jr. Celebrates Commitment of Teammate Kayden Dixon-Wyatt to Ohio State
Ohio State has added another top-tier talent to its already impressive 2026 recruiting class. On Sunday, wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt announced his commitment to the Buckeyes, giving offensive coordinator Brian Hartline another major win on the recruiting trail. Dixon-Wyatt, a highly ranked prospect, chose Ohio State over Oregon and several other top programs.
Chris Henry Jr., a fellow five-star wide receiver and current Buckeyes commit, quickly reacted to the news. Henry, who plays with Dixon-Wyatt at Mater Dei High School in California, shared a photo of the two together, showing his excitement about teaming up again at the collegiate level.
The addition of Dixon-Wyatt further solidifies Ohio State’s offensive future. Once the 2026 season begins, he and Henry will join standout receiver Jeremiah Smith, forming a potentially dominant trio. Smith, who will be a sophomore in 2026, is expected to play a leading role in what could be one of the nation’s most dangerous passing attacks.
Dixon-Wyatt is currently ranked as the No. 6 wide receiver in the 2026 class, while Henry holds the No. 4 spot, according to 247Sports. Both players had numerous offers but ultimately chose to join the Buckeyes, thanks in large part to Hartline’s recruiting efforts.
Henry recently reaffirmed his commitment to Ohio State by ending his recruitment and canceling future visits, and Dixon-Wyatt’s decision only strengthens that bond. Their connection on and off the field has Buckeye fans excited about what’s to come.
