Josh Allen Proud of Hailee Steinfeld’s Success in Sinners
Josh Allen has expressed pride in his fiancée Hailee Steinfeld’s performance in her latest film, Sinners. The NFL quarterback, who got engaged to the actress in 2024, spoke about her success during a recent training session with the Buffalo Bills.
“I’m so excited for her and so proud,” Josh said. “The movie is getting great reviews—it’s really fantastic.”
Although he’s one of the league’s top players, Josh is happy to step back and support Hailee in the spotlight. “That was her moment, and I’m just glad she got to shine.”
Hailee, meanwhile, has been focused on promoting Sinners and mentioned that wedding planning is currently on hold. “We’re in the middle of a press tour,” she told Extra. “We’ve got a movie coming out in a few days, so that’s our focus right now.”
The couple announced their engagement in November with a joint Instagram post. The image showed Josh proposing in front of a scenic ocean backdrop, surrounded by flowers and candles. The caption featured an infinity symbol and the date of the proposal, November 22.
Hailee later reflected on the emotional experience in her Beau Society newsletter. “All the happy tears have just barely dried,” she wrote. “Every time we talk about it or say, ‘We’re getting married,’ I start crying.”
Despite the excitement, she said she’s not ready to share too many details just yet. “I have to hold this close for a little while longer,” she added.
