Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who signed a six-year, $330 million contract extension in March, recently praised his fiancée Hailee Steinfeld for her role in the new film Sinners. The movie, which co-stars Michael B. Jordan, received strong reviews, including one from NBA star LeBron James.
Allen expressed how proud he was of Steinfeld’s performance, saying it was a special moment for her and encouraging fans to see the film. “It’s a fantastic movie, so go watch it,” he said in a quote shared on social media. “That was her moment, and I’m so glad she got to shine.”
Despite his supportive message, some fans took the opportunity to joke about Allen’s reaction to Steinfeld’s romantic scenes with Jordan. Comments online ranged from light teasing to humorous speculation about how Allen might have felt watching the film.
