Josh Allen Gets Teased by Fans After Praising Hailee Steinfeld’s Movie Role
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who signed a six-year, $330 million contract extension in March, recently praised his fiancée Hailee Steinfeld for her role in the new film Sinners. The movie, which co-stars Michael B. Jordan, received strong reviews, including one from NBA star LeBron James.
Allen expressed how proud he was of Steinfeld’s performance, saying it was a special moment for her and encouraging fans to see the film. “It’s a fantastic movie, so go watch it,” he said in a quote shared on social media. “That was her moment, and I’m so glad she got to shine.”
Despite his supportive message, some fans took the opportunity to joke about Allen’s reaction to Steinfeld’s romantic scenes with Jordan. Comments online ranged from light teasing to humorous speculation about how Allen might have felt watching the film.
“Bro had to have been in tears,” one fan joked. Another added, “Josh is either winning MVP again or going back to rookie form after seeing this.”
While the comments were mostly in jest, Allen is no stranger to public scrutiny and is unlikely to be affected by the attention. He remains focused on football, especially with the Bills holding 10 picks in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft.
Allen and Steinfeld got engaged in November 2024.
