Josh Allen Deletes Social Media as Wedding Approaches, Focuses on Football
Buffalo Bills quarterback and reigning NFL MVP Josh Allen has taken a major step in managing his offseason by deleting all of his social media accounts. Speaking during offseason workouts, Allen explained the decision was about being more intentional with his time and maintaining focus.
“It’s about being present and intentional,” Allen said during a recent media session. “Ignorance is bliss.”
This offseason has been eventful for Allen. He recently signed a contract that places him among the highest-paid quarterbacks in league history, and he’s also preparing for his upcoming wedding to actress Hailee Steinfeld, star of the new film Sinners. Balancing professional and personal commitments, Allen’s social media hiatus appears to be helping him stay grounded.
One example of how removed he is from online updates: Allen admitted he didn’t even know the Bills had re-signed cornerback Tre’Davious White until he spotted him at the facility.
“I asked the equipment manager, ‘Is that Tre White over there?’ Just wanted to be sure,” Allen said with a smile. “It’s great to see familiar faces back.”
White’s return is expected to boost team chemistry, while Allen’s focused presence during team activities is also seen as a positive sign heading into the new season.
