Baylor Lands Commitment from Andre Iguodala II, Son of NBA Veteran
Three-star small forward Andre Iguodala II, son of four-time NBA champion Andre Iguodala, has committed to Baylor University, sources confirmed Friday evening.
The 6-foot-7, 185-pound prospect from Branson, Missouri, is the No. 8-ranked recruit in the state and the 51st-ranked small forward nationally. Iguodala II becomes the second member of Baylor’s 2025 recruiting class, joining five-star forward Tounde Yessoufou in a fresh-look roster under head coach Scott Drew.
Iguodala II played his high school basketball at Link Academy, where he drew praise for his athleticism and mobility. Eric Bossi of 247Sports described him as “an elite mover” with strong transition skills and defensive potential, traits reminiscent of his father’s playing style.
Though capable of playing both the three and four positions, Iguodala II has shown a developing jump shot and solid three-point range, making him a more natural fit as a small forward at the college level. He is expected to spend his first season refining his game alongside Baylor’s coaching staff and veteran transfers.
Before committing to Baylor, Iguodala II visited the campus earlier in the week and had also drawn interest from Arizona, where he took a visit in February.
