Bills Fans Still Confident in 2025 Season Outlook, Poll Shows
Recently, Buffalo Rumblings surveyed fans to gauge expectations for the Buffalo Bills’ 2025 season, particularly in light of FanDuel’s over/under projection of 11.5 wins.
While it’s early — the team hasn’t yet held practices, training camp, or released an injury report — fans are already forming opinions. Despite the lack of on-field action, predictions are flying across the internet, especially since Buffalo’s offseason moves have sparked optimism.
The team lost only one unrestricted free agent, wide receiver Mack Hollins, and the remaining free agents are still unsigned. With those limited losses and several additions, many believe the roster is in better shape than last year.
It’s worth noting that Buffalo, having won the AFC East for a record fifth straight year, will once again face a tough schedule due to NFL rules that assign harder matchups to top teams. Here’s a breakdown of the Bills’ 2025 opponents:
Home Games:
- Baltimore Ravens
- Cincinnati Bengals
- Kansas City Chiefs
- Miami Dolphins
- New England Patriots
- New Orleans Saints
- New York Jets
- Philadelphia Eagles
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Away Games:
- Atlanta Falcons
- Carolina Panthers
- Cleveland Browns
- Houston Texans
- Miami Dolphins
- New England Patriots
- New York Jets
- Pittsburgh Steelers
The home schedule, in particular, looks challenging. However, the Bills have excelled at home in recent years. Since 2020, they’ve posted a 35-7 home record, including an undefeated home slate in 2024.
Since Josh Allen became the full-time starting quarterback in 2019, the team hasn’t finished worse than 10-6. That consistency, along with strong leadership from head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane, has earned fan trust.
According to the poll, 87% of fans believe Buffalo will win more than 11.5 games this season — a strong vote of confidence in the team’s direction and stability.
