Indiana football has extended an offer to 2027 quarterback prospect Teddy Jarrard from North Cobb Christian School in Kennesaw, Georgia, as reported by 247Sports. Jarrard, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound quarterback, recently visited Bloomington, where he formed a growing relationship with Indiana’s quarterback coach and offensive assistant, Chandler Whitmer. Jarrard expressed his admiration for Whitmer’s coaching style, noting how it helped players develop and improve.
In his sophomore season in 2024, Jarrard had an impressive performance, passing for 2,647 yards, 34 touchdowns, and just five interceptions while completing 72% of his passes. He will spend the next two years at a new school, as he transferred to North Cobb this offseason. Along with Indiana, Jarrard has received offers from several other top programs, including Illinois, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Georgia, and Wisconsin, among others.
Jarrard is highly regarded for his size and skills as a pro-style quarterback. He is described as a rhythmic passer with a strong, accurate arm and quick release, able to make sharp, precise throws that align perfectly with his receivers. His QB Hitlist score currently stands at 92 out of 100, with two more years of high school to further develop his game.
Scouting reports highlight Jarrard’s strong decision-making and excellent production, showcasing his potential to become a future star at the quarterback position. His performance at North Cobb Christian and his physical tools have impressed analysts, with Tom Lemming praising his arm strength, accuracy, and overall potential during a recent visit to Georgia.
Indiana currently does not have any recruits signed to the 2027 class, but Jarrard’s offer represents a significant step in their recruiting efforts. His combination of size, arm strength, and football IQ makes him a highly sought-after prospect, and he is expected to have several strong options as he continues to develop over the next few years.
