Nebraska Grabs Notre Dame Offensive Lineman via Transfer Portal!
Nebraska Scores Big with Notre Dame’s Rocco Spindler, a 6-5, 325lb O-Line Powerhouse! The former Fighting Irish standout, who started 23 games at guard, joins the Huskers for his final season after playing in the National Championship game.
Nebraska’s offensive line just got even stronger with Rocco Spindler’s arrival, giving the Huskers a serious boost after adding Elijah Pritchett from Alabama. Spindler’s addition at left guard could be the key to solidifying Donovan Raiola’s line.
With Spindler alongside Pritchett, Justin Evans-Jenkins can shift to center, while Turner Corcoran, Sam Sledge, and Henry Lutovsky battle for right guard.
That sets up an exciting competition for right tackle between Teddy Prochazka and Gunnar Gottula. With experience, size, and depth, Nebraska’s O-line is shaping up to be a powerhouse for the Big Ten.
Rocco Spindler, a Michigan native and former high school wrestling champion, was ranked #95 nationally by 247 Sports coming out of high school.
His transfer decision came down to Indiana, Michigan, and Nebraska, with the Huskers’ ability to get him enrolled immediately tipping the scales.
