Broncos Corner Back is all set for the Broncos-Bengals showdown.
After a full week of practice, Broncos player Moss has been cleared for the Saturday-afternoon game against the Bengals. Coach Sean Payton confirmed that Moss is ready to play, noting, “He’s doing good. He’ll be ready to go.”
Moss’s return is especially timely as the Broncos’ defense has struggled without him in December. Prior to his absence, the Broncos ranked second in yards allowed per pass play and ninth in passing yards allowed. However, in the three games Moss missed, their defense has slipped to 26th and last in those categories.
Edge rusher Nik Bonitto expressed confidence in Moss’s return, highlighting the hard work Moss has put in during his recovery and his strong season. Payton also emphasized that Moss’s impact extends beyond his on-field performance, noting his competitive energy and leadership, which the team missed during his absence.
In addition to Moss’s return, running back Jaleel McLaughlin is also ready to play after recovering from a quadriceps injury. He missed last week’s game but participated fully in practice earlier this week.
The only Broncos player with a game-time decision is running back Tyler Badie. Despite a back injury that sidelined him since September, Badie participated fully in practice this week and is listed as questionable.
His return is significant for the team, with fellow running back Audric Estimé praising Badie’s energy and quickness, which have been invaluable in the locker room. Estimé looks forward to learning even more from Badie now that he is back.
