Sean Payton and the Denver Broncos are set to face the Cleveland Browns at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium on Monday Night Football at 8:15 p.m. ET. This game could play a pivotal role in determining whether the Broncos remain in control of their playoff destiny.
Denver has been propelled by rookie quarterback Bo Nix, who currently ranks 14th in the NFL in passing, just behind fellow rookie Caleb Williams of the Bears.
On Friday, when asked about his injury status for the Browns game, Nix provided a concise four-word response that left no doubt about his readiness: “I’m good to go.” He added confidently, “Ready to roll.”
Bo Nix was a full participant in Friday’s Broncos practice, signaling his readiness for Monday’s game. Though he didn’t miss any time during last Sunday’s victory over the Raiders, he was seen grabbing his lower back after a pressured throw by defensive end Maxx Crosby.
Later in the game, Nix wore a wrap around his back following a touchdown pass to Courtland Sutton in the second half.
The Browns enter the matchup as six-point favorites, with Nix expected to face off against Cleveland’s backup quarterback Jameis Winston.
