Louisville has added 2026 edge rusher Jon Adams to its recruiting class. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect from Chiefland, Fla., announced his commitment on Wednesday afternoon.
Adams attended Louisville’s summer BBQ event and received his first scholarship offer after meeting with U of L defensive line coach Mark Hagen.
Adams has posted impressive stats this season, recording 38 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and 4.5 sacks. On offense, he rushed for 313 yards and four touchdowns on 30 carries.
In 2023, as a junior, he logged 92 tackles, 20.5 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks. Adams is drawing interest from Florida State and other programs, recently visiting Florida State’s campus.
Adams becomes the third member of Louisville’s 2026 recruiting class, joining Brady Ballart and Max Merz. For more on this commitment, follow Cardinal Authority.
