Kentucky football secured a prized recruit in Dejerrian “DJ” Miller, a 4-star wide receiver from Cardinal Ritter Prep in St. Louis, Missouri. Miller immediately becomes one of the top commitments in the Wildcats’ 2025 recruiting class.
Miller is a 4-star recruit according to Rivals, a 3-star prospect by On3.com, and holds a 3-star rating (with an 88 grade) from 24/7 Sports. As one of the top rising wide receivers in the 2025 class, he had offers from programs like Illinois, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Indiana, Colorado, and more. He ultimately narrowed his options down to Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
Today, he publicly committed to the Wildcats and is eager to don the blue and white next season, ahead of the football signing period beginning on December 20th.
This is a significant win for a Kentucky program that has faced challenges on the field this year, finishing 4-7 overall and 1-7 in the SEC. With Miller’s commitment, the Wildcats are focused on rebuilding their roster and aiming for a stronger performance in the upcoming season.
This commitment could very well be the one Mark Stoops was referring to in his comments during his coach’s show yesterday. Stoops was nearly 10 minutes late to the show, explaining that he had been on the phone with a “prospect.” He initially expected the conversation to last 15 minutes, but it ended up being a 30-minute commitment. While he couldn’t reveal the player’s identity until officially signed, Miller’s commitment the following day suggests that he was the player Stoops was speaking with.
With this addition, the Kentucky Wildcats remain in the top 30 recruiting rankings for the 2025 class. 247Sports currently ranks them at No. 27.
