Alabama football is already making moves for future recruiting classes, adding to its 2027 roster while finishing up the 2025 class. Alexander Ward, a 6-foot-1, 174-pound wide receiver and defensive back from Marietta, Georgia, announced his commitment to Alabama on Tuesday. Ward chose the Crimson Tide over other offers from Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina, and several others. He cited the welcoming atmosphere and the strong player development programs at Alabama as key factors in his decision.

While Ward has not yet received a star rating from 247Sports, his commitment highlights Alabama’s forward-thinking approach to recruiting. The team’s recruitment efforts for future seasons are already underway, with additional recruits joining the class.
