Baylor is working hard to hold onto Kaleb Burns’ commitment as National Signing Day approaches, with Oregon and Oklahoma presenting significant challenges to the Bears’ plans.
When the three-star linebacker flipped his commitment from Texas Tech to Baylor in July, it seemed his recruitment was all but over.
However, after a strong senior season at Houston’s Cy Falls High School, Burns attracted attention from several powerhouse programs, and his recruitment has once again become uncertain.
Starting in early September, Burns began receiving offers from Memphis, Ole Miss, Oregon, Oklahoma, and UCLA over a six-week period.
The Sooners, Ducks, and Rebels quickly emerged as major contenders for Burns’ signature. With National Signing Day just around the corner, the Bears now face a tough battle to keep Burns’ commitment amidst the pursuit from these other schools.
