Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott announced on Friday that starting tight end Dalton Kincaid will not play against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday due to a knee injury. Kincaid, who was injured during last week’s 30-20 win over Indianapolis, did not practice this week. The second-year tight end has 34 receptions for 356 yards and two touchdowns, ranking second on the team in both catches and receiving yards.
Kincaid’s absence weakens the Bills’ passing game, which will also be without rookie receiver Keon Coleman for a second consecutive game due to a right wrist injury.
Wide receiver Amari Cooper, who has missed the last two games with a left wrist injury, is listed as questionable but has a chance to return to the lineup. Cooper, who was acquired in a trade with Cleveland last month, has played in only two games, recording five catches for 69 yards and a touchdown.
Additionally, starting right tackle Spencer Brown is also listed as questionable with an ankle injury.
