The Kansas City Chiefs will be without their top running back, Isiah Pacheco, for at least one more game as they face the Buffalo Bills in Week 11. Pacheco, who has been sidelined since Week 2 with a fractured fibula, was activated from injured reserve earlier this week to begin practicing, but head coach Andy Reid confirmed he will not play this Sunday. The Chiefs had hoped Pacheco might return, but he’ll miss another week.
While Pacheco is out, the Chiefs will also continue to be without other key players, including wide receivers Rashee Rice and Hollywood Brown, and cornerback Jaylen Watson. However, there’s some good news on the horizon, as both Pacheco and pass rusher Charles Omenihu, who is recovering from a torn ACL, could return next week to help strengthen the team.
The Chiefs will also welcome back wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who has been out for nearly a month due to a hamstring injury. Smith-Schuster’s last full game was in Week 5, when he had 130 yards on 7 catches. He missed Week 7 after leaving early with the same injury, but he’s expected to contribute in Week 11.
Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills will also be without several important players, including wide receiver Keon Coleman (their 2024 top draft pick), tight end Dalton Kincaid, and linebacker Matt Milano. Both teams will be somewhat depleted as they square off at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York, with kickoff scheduled for 3:25 p.m. CST.
