Illinois guard Roxy White has committed to Arizona women’s basketball, marking the first known commitment for the 2025 class just hours before signing day. White, a 5-foot-11 guard, plays for Example Academy in Frankfort, Illinois. Last year, she competed with the school’s national team, facing top prep programs like IMG Academy, SPIRE Academy, AZ Compass Prep, Mt. Zion Prep, and Montverde Academy. Her team, the Eagles, finished with a 20-8 record.
Example Academy secured the Insider Exposure Independent School national championships in 2022 and 2023, and in 2024, they won the Grind Session championship, defeating Bella Vista Prep, the defending champions, with White starting for her underdog team. White also competes for Example Sports in club basketball, alongside several other players who have been offered by Arizona.

Although White received early interest from Ohio State, Arizona only extended an offer in mid-October. In addition to Arizona, she also received offers from Georgetown, Navy, and other programs. She had visited smaller schools such as Rhode Island, Utah State, and Loyola.
