On Wednesday, Auburn football secured a commitment from a three-star wide receiver, who now joins his brother in Auburn’s 2025 recruiting class.
Erick Smith, the brother of current Auburn commit Derick Smith, announced his commitment to the Tigers on Wednesday morning, making him Auburn’s 27th commitment for the 2025 class.
A standout from Southside High School in Selma, Erick Smith is the third wide receiver to commit to Auburn in this cycle, joining Derick and Sam Turner.
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Erick Smith is ranked as the No. 1,600 player nationally and the No. 54 player in Alabama.
In addition to Auburn, Erick Smith had offers from Alabama, Appalachian State, North Alabama, Alabama State, and Alabama A&M.
