Allen Matches O.J. as Bills Improve to 8-2
It wasn’t a flawless performance, but the Buffalo Bills extended their winning streak with a 30-20 victory over the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium. While Buffalo didn’t have everything go their way and Josh Allen threw two interceptions—ending his long streak without one—the Bills relied heavily on their ground game to keep the Colts’ defense off balance. James Cook contributed with 19 carries for 80 yards and a touchdown, while Allen added 50 rushing yards and another touchdown on eight carries.
Buffalo’s offense, led by coordinator Joe Brady’s “everybody eats” philosophy, saw five different receivers rack up over 25 yards. Mack Hollins was the top performer, recording four catches for 86 yards, with Khalil Shakir adding six receptions for 58 yards and Dawson Knox contributing two catches for 40 yards.
On defense, the Bills had a standout performance, intercepting Joe Flacco three times, including on his first pass attempt of the game. Buffalo allowed just four third-down conversions, recovered a fumble, and sacked Flacco four times. Allen also reached a personal milestone, scoring his 57th career rushing touchdown, tying O.J. Simpson for second on the franchise’s all-time list, behind Thurman Thomas with 65.

With the win, Buffalo improves to 8-2 and sets up a critical matchup in Week 11 against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs (9-0) at Highmark Stadium. The game holds significant playoff implications for both teams. Despite Allen’s increased interception rate, the offense continues to produce at a high level, scoring 30 or more points in four consecutive games. Even without key receivers Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis, the Bills’ offensive depth has kept them in strong form.
