Lamar Jackson led the Baltimore Ravens to a thrilling 35-34 comeback victory over the Cincinnati Bengals in Maryland, overcoming a 14-point deficit.
Trailing 21-7 in the third quarter, Jackson threw three touchdown passes in the fourth, including a game-winning five-yard pass to Rashod Bateman with under two minutes left to play.
The reigning NFL MVP struggled in the first half, managing just 71 yards and one touchdown as the Bengals contained him. However, Jackson came alive in the second half, throwing for 219 yards and three touchdowns.
The Bengals had a chance to reclaim the lead in the final moments when Ja’Marr Chase caught a five-yard touchdown to cut the Ravens’ lead to just one point. But Joe Burrow’s two-point conversion attempt to Tanner Hudson with 38 seconds left was unsuccessful, allowing Baltimore to hold on for the win.
