The unbelievable thing Metallica did to fan who died during their concert

“Metallica has paid tribute to a Canadian fan who passed away during their concert in Edmonton.

On Friday night (August 23), while attending the band’s show at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Canada, a fan named Lorne collapsed in the “Snake Pit”—the front-row mosh pit area reserved for VIP fans.

The cause of Lorne’s death remains unknown, but a Facebook post from someone claiming to be his friend mentioned that he suffered from an undisclosed “medical issue” and received “aggressive CPR,” but unfortunately, he could not be revived. Lorne, affectionately nicknamed “the Viking,” was described as “the kindest soul.”

Metallica addressed the incident, sharing a tribute on social media in Lorne’s honor. They wrote: “Friday night, August 23rd, in Edmonton, we lost a Metallica family member at the show.

He passed away due to health conditions, leaving his earthly body and moving on to the next adventure. It’s always sad when death happens, but we’re grateful he spent some of his final, hopefully joyful, moments with us.

Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Lorne ‘Viking.’”

In other Metallica news, it was recently announced that fans had the chance to bid for a dinner date with lead singer and guitarist James Hetfield for charity.

The bidding has since closed, and while the winning bid hasn’t been disclosed, the winner will be able to bring up to three additional guests but will be responsible for covering the entire bill for the evening.”
