Crash on Darwen Road, Bromley Cross, leaves 2 in …

Two people were hospitalized following a two-car collision in the early hours of the morning.

Emergency services responded to the incident on Darwen Road in Bromley I Cross at 1:50 a.m. The road remained closed overnight, with police confirming it reopened at 7:30 a.m.

Authorities stated that two individuals were transported to the hospital. North West Ambulance Service has been contacted for further details.

Darwen Road has been the site of several accidents in recent times. In February, a car crashed into a wall during a collision, and there has also been a fatal incident on this road.

Local officials recently announced that they are considering potential improvements to enhance safety on Darwen Road.
