JUST IN: High Wycombe crash on Totteridge Road sees seven injured

The road was closed while firefighters and paramedics attended the scene.

Seven people needed emergency treatment following a two-car collision in Buckinghamshire. Firefighters and paramedics were sent to the scene, where all seven received care by the ambulance crew.

The crash took place at around 6.19pm on Sunday, August 20 and occurred on Totteridge Road in High Wycombe. Emergency services swiftly responded to the incident, with two fire engines and crews from High Wycombe, along with one officer, attending the scene.

When they arrived, four men and three women were found outside the cars, injured. The firefighters provided immediate emergency care to the seven individuals before transferring their care to the South Central Ambulance Service.

Additionally, the firefighters ensured the safety of the scene and closed the road. The incident was then handed over to police.

A Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “The firefighters provided immediate emergency care to the seven people, before passing them into the care of South Central Ambulance Service. They also made the scene safe, and the road was closed.

“The incident was left in the hands of Thames Valley Police.”
