JUST IN: Darren Moore has announced the leadership team for Port Vale FC 2024/25 season

Darren Moore has announced the leadership team for Port Vale FC for the 2024/25 season. Ben Garrity will serve as the club’s Captain, while Connor Hall and new signing George Byers have been appointed as Vice Captains.

Regarding his choices, Port Vale FC Manager Darren Moore said:
“This season brings a new look to the captaincy and vice captain roles. All three have significant stature both as individuals and as players within this football club.

“They each bring leadership and respect to the dressing room. With these three in place, we have the flexibility to adapt if someone is missing from the matchday squad, as any of them can step in as needed.

“Off the pitch, they command great respect from their peers. Their guidance is always aimed at supporting others, both within the club and in the community, as they share the same responsibilities.

“I wish them all the very best for the upcoming season.”
