The Baltimore Ravens have reached a one-year agreement with ex-Chicago Bears

On Friday, the Baltimore Ravens signed former Chicago Bears safety Eddie Jackson to a one-year contract.

The 30-year-old Jackson will provide additional depth to the safety position, joining Kyle Hamilton and Marcus Williams. He is expected to fill the role previously occupied by Geno Stone, who joined the Cincinnati Bengals after leading the AFC with seven interceptions last season.

Over his seven seasons with the Bears, Jackson played in 100 games, recording 15 interceptions and 459 tackles.

He earned Pro Bowl honors in 2018 and 2019.

Released by the Bears in February, Jackson has struggled with foot injuries, which have caused him to miss a total of 10 games over the past two seasons.

The Ravens will kick off their training camp this Sunday.
