Transfer Rumour: Port Vale linked with second championship player

Now, social media sources indicate that Moore might be considering another reunion with winger Mallik Wilks, who currently finds himself out of favor at Sheffield Wednesday.

Wilks had an impressive season in League One with Hull City, scoring 22 goals in the 2020-21 campaign. His potential signing by League Two’s Port Vale would be seen as another significant capture. However, since moving to Hillsborough in 2022, Wilks has struggled to replicate that form, partly due to injuries last season, which could be a concern for Vale.
