JUST IN: the next Buffalo Bills signing has been confirmed

The Buffalo Bills enter the 2024 NFL season as a major question mark. They could emerge as legitimate Super Bowl contenders or take a significant step back from their recent performance levels. The offseason brought significant changes, most notably the trade of star wide receiver Stefon Diggs.

Josh Allen remains at the helm of the offense and continues to be one of the most dynamic playmakers at the quarterback position.

With training camp approaching, the Bills should consider upgrading their roster. There are several quality free agents available, and one in particular is being discussed as a potential target for Buffalo.

BuffaloDown of FanSided recently identified three free agents the Bills should consider pursuing. Among them is veteran cornerback Patrick Peterson, who remains available.

“At 34 years old, Peterson has not shown many signs of slowing down. Just two years ago, he snagged five interceptions with the Minnesota Vikings. He has missed just one game in two years, proving he can stay healthy for the Buffalo defense. Peterson might be ring chasing as he nears the end of his career. If he believes the Bills can make a deep playoff run, it would be a great match.”

Peterson is coming off a productive 2023 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In 17 games, he recorded 42 total tackles, two interceptions, and 11 defended passes, demonstrating he can still be an effective NFL starting cornerback.
